I participated in my first bridal show over Halloween weekend, and it was a blast! I got to meet so many awesome brides, grooms, and family members, though I was coming down with a cold, so I apologize if I was a little out of it! Here’s a peek at my booth setup.
The gorgeous bench seat was found at an estate sale in Brentwood. Now I’m trying to find a place for it in my house where my cats won’t tear it up.
Why, yes, I did plan my dress to match my booth.

I’ve posted before about my portrait referral program, but now I’d like to announce my new wedding referral program.
For each new bride or groom that you refer to me that chooses me to document their wedding day, you’ll receive a completely free portrait session with a high-res disc of images and a $50 print credit.* That’s a $500 value! The couple you refer will also receive a $50 print credit. Just make sure that they mention your name when booking!
* Session will be awarded after the wedding contract has been confirmed.

What are mini sessions? How are they different from standard sessions?
Mini sessions take place on set dates and locations. They last for approximately 30 minutes each. You receive 15 images in an online gallery.
In contrast, a standard session takes place on the date and location of your choosing and lasts for 1-2 hours. You will typically receive around 50 images in your online gallery during a standard session.
What types of sessions do you shoot during mini sessions?
You can use your mini session for anything that will fit in the time period! I’ve shot love sessions, headshots, maternity, pets, and family photos during mini sessions. The only sessions I would suggest you absolutely need to book a full session are newborn and engagement sessions, both of which I typically like to spend about two hours shooting.
Fall is especially nice to capture the image you want to use on your holiday cards or photos of your kids in their Halloween costumes.
What are the dates and locations?
All mini sessions will be held at Clover Bottom Mansion. You can choose from October 23rd or November 6th. The first session each day will be at 10am and the last session will be at 5:30pm (for the October 23rd date) and 4:00 (for the November 6th date). (The prime spots for the best light are the last sessions on each day! Those will go fast, so book quickly if you are wanting sunset photos!)
What if it rains?
If the weather gets in our way, I will schedule a new date for the same location. If you are unable to make the new date, any retainer you pay will be credited toward a standard session or refunded.
What if I have a large group?
Groups of more than five people need to book a double session to ensure we have enough time to capture your images. This adds an additional 30 minutes of time.
Are there packages I can choose from? Which should I choose?
Yes! I’ve got three packages you can choose from. Package A is perfect for those who are just wanting one image to use on holiday cards. Packages B and C come with additional files, as well as a print credit that you can use on any products I offer.

1 high-res digital file (perfect for holiday cards!)
Package B – $200
30 minute session
15 retouched images in an online gallery
5 high-res digital files
$50 print credit (good for prints, as well as any specialty products!)

What products do you have available?
We will go over all my products at our image premiere and ordering session, but canvases, ThinWraps, MetalPrints, books, and prints are available. In addition, if you refer someone who books a mini session, I’ll throw in a complimentary brag book! These cute little books show off 14 images and are small enough to fit in a purse or pocket.

Just contact me with your preferred date (October 23rd or November 6th) and time (10am to 5:30pm). All packages require a 50% retainer to hold your time slot.

The first time I ever saw IRISbook’s albums, I knew that I wanted to offer them with my wedding packages. Not only are they absolutely stunning in person, but their website showcases samples using the names of couples from “Lost”! Match made in heaven.
You get the choice between silk and leather for the album covers and a variety of colors. I went with a purple silk for my sample.
When you open the album, you are greeted with these exquisite endpapers that match the color of the outside.
The pages are incredibly vibrant. I couldn’t believe how gorgeous the photos looked.
Even the black & white and sepia photos are true to color.
I can’t wait to design these for my couples!
