Meet Sam! He was born just a few short weeks ago. He was a champ during our newborn session and fell right to sleep after a quick meal.
I love baby feet and his were no exception!
We managed to squeeze in some portraits with mom and dad, too.

It’s always super exciting to see how much a baby has grown since they were born. I shot Scout’s newborn session last spring, and look what a big girl she is at a year old! Don’t you love her red hair?
Scout’s mom, Holly, suggested Sewanee’s campus as the backdrop for our session, and I was so glad she did. I had never been before, and it was gorgeous!
They brought lots of great outfits and props along so I could capture a variety of images.
We ended our day with some frozen yogurt at Sweet Cece’s (if you know me, you know how much I love that place; I practically live at the one in the Village).

Do you all remember Ella? I shot her newborn session last year, and now she’s a year old! (Well, more like 13 months since it rained the entire month of April.) We went out to Rotary Park in Clarksville to capture her sweet face.
We also learned that she loves playing with rocks.
Ella’s mommy is eight months along with her baby brother, so there’s going to be a new addition to this family picture soon!

My coworker Mark initially commented to me that he wanted some new images of him and his wife. However, his sister was visiting that weekend, so he decided to turn it into a family event with his mom and mother-in-law, as well! We did the session at his mom’s bookstore, Bodacious Books, which was…well, bodacious! (I’m feeling totally surfer right now.) We did all of the group shots in front of Mark’s favorite bookcase.
Of course, I wasn’t going to ignore his initial request and took Mark and Gerry outside for a little mini couples session.
Kendra and Brian are expecting a sweet little boy in just a few short (although probably not to Kendra!) weeks. They joined me for a mini session at Centennial Park, and I was able to capture these special moments with them.
