Andrea and Dylan were married just after sunset at the beautiful St. Joseph’s in Bowling Green with their reception following at the Knights of Columbus Hall. It was a gorgeous November day and the last wedding I shot in 2011! Thanks to Shane Irwin for asking me to shoot with him again

I had so much fun with Ashlee and Adam during their engagement session! We started the afternoon at the Opryland Hotel to take advantage of their gorgeous Christmas lights. Ashlee told me that the last time they had been to the hotel was the weekend of the flood. They had stayed the night and, in the morning, Adam had a gut feeling and rushed her out of the hotel. Ashlee said she remembers being upset that she didn’t even get to eat breakfast, but just a few hours later, as the rain poured in, the hotel was evacuated due to the flooding.
This was also my first trip back to the hotel since it reopened, and it was just as I remembered it. Even though we got confused and lost a few times, we had a great time finding spots for pictures!

After the hotel, we headed out to a Christmas tree farm in Lebanon for some quick sunset photos. How gorgeous is this couple??

Thanks you guys! Have a blast in Vegas!
Shane is a fellow local wedding photographer that I’ve shot with on many occasions. So when he told me that he was going to propose to his girlfriend Shannon on Christmas Eve at Opryland, how could I say no?

I was truly honored to photograph Mary Ann and Dave’s 50th anniversary party in November. I’ve been a friend of the family since their granddaughter Sharley and I became best friends in elementary school over 20 years ago (WOW, does that make me feel old!), so I was touched when their daughter Tina asked me if I would shoot their anniversary party over in Bumpus Mills, Tennessee. Of course I would!

Congratulations on 50 years of marriage and many more to go!
Coming soon: Shane’s PROPOSAL to Shannon at the Opryland Hotel and their engagement session! But for now…
